Faversham Hop Festival

02 Sep 2017 - 03 Sep 2017

2017 will be the 28th year of the Hop Festival, and we will be celebrating it in style.

There will be the usual excellent selection of live music on our 3 stages, plus the Shepherd Neame stage, and the vibrant live music scene in the pubs around the town. We will also be featuring a wide range of Morris dancing, and other dance troupes.

The family fun area enters its 6th year and will again provide entertainment and rides for our younger visitors.

There will be a large and varied selection of stalls, along with official Hop Festival merchandising stands, where you can get souvenirs of your visit.

BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR –  we will be featuring various exhibitions and activities celebrating the heritage of the hop industry in the Faversham area, which extends back over 800 years. Our mascot “Harry the Hop” who will feature in a number of the activities for our younger visitors. Our Festival Village at the Abbey School will also see development, providing music and entertainment for our camping community and others.

Please look through the Faversham Hop Festival website  to see how you can get involved and support this great annual event.

See you in September 2017!
