We are pleased to announce that Lt Palmer of the Royal Engineers will be with us this weekend with his Bomb Disposal school called 'Fantastic Bombs and where to find them' which takes the public through life as a child, a member of
the public and as a bomb disposal officer during WW2. He'll teach you what they do, how they deal with bombs and what you should be looking out for via some of the most unique interactive activities out there! Can you defuse his bomb without setting it off? Will you survive bomb reconnaissance training? Do you want to get your hands on the bombs that all come with stories?.....also why not sign your children up for an evacuee holiday?
Complete your visit with a stop at our renowned Station Tea Room for a 'proper' coffee and some fabulous cake. Alternatively grab something hot from the BBQ and set out your picnic blanket for a fantastic day out.
