Kids Summer Gardening Sessions: Grow to Eat, Eat to Grow

This summer for the first time we are offering the chance for children to come and grow with us in our unique Brogdale Collections wildlife garden.

Come along to our Grow to Eat, Eat to Grow Wildlife garden-based sessions and find out how you can grow your own food.

These practical and fun one-off sessions encourage children to experience growing the food we eat in a wildlife friendly way and there will always be something to take home at the end. Why not enjoy a walk around the National Fruit Collection while the kids have some gardening fun and learn something new.

Sessions are free to participate for children’s Orchard pass holders and will be a small group of a maximum of 15 children with 2 supervisory adults.

The sessions are aimed at children who enjoy gardening and working outdoors, but who may not have or may not always take advantage of the opportunity to garden at home or school.

The focus is on ‘grow to eat’ activities both for the participants and the wildlife.

Brogdale has unlimited free parking, disabled toilets and a café.

To enjoy unlimited visits to Brogdale all year round (excluding festivals and events) purchase your Orchard Pass here.
