Faversham Guided Town Walks
Enjoy a 90 minute stroll around fascinating Faversham, a charming and historic town, escorted by knowledgeable & interesting Faversham Society guides. The town boasts more than 475 listed buildings and one of the finest medieval streets in the country. The Parish Church of St Mary of Charity has a crown spire visible for miles around, England's oldest brewery has been here since 1698 whilst Faversham Creek remains a haven for wildlife and boats.
The programme has been expanded to include additional walks to coincide with the "Best of Faversham Market" (1st Saturday of the month), and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Walks start from the Fleur De Lis Heritage Centre, 12 Preston Street, (a short walk from the railway station), at the following times:
1st Saturday February-December @ 10:30am
Every Saturday April-October @ 10:30am
Every Saturday June - September @ 2:30pm
Bank Holiday Mondays @ 10:30am
Adults:£5.00, Children: £3.00
Includes free Museum entry on the same day. No advance booking is necessary.
