Opportunities in Swale...

There are a number of clubs and organisations providing opportunities in Swale -

Remember to contact the club/organisation before you attend to ask any questions you have on their activities.

Background to Archery...

Not many sports can trace their history back to around 60,000 years but as one tool that was used for hunting there must have been practice sessions going on; Archery origins can claim to be one of the oldest sports around today.

There are many forms of Archery today but all will consist of using a Bow and string to shoot an arrow towards a target that can be in a number of positions or distances away from the archer or bowman.

It is a sport that can be competed individually but clubs can also enter as a team, with the sport being part of Olympic and Paralympic games as well as its own local, national and International tournaments.

COVID-19

All activities offered by clubs overseen by a National Governing Body will be required to adhere to new procedures to protect participants. Archery GB is working with Sport England to support providers to get back to activities.
