Well it's certainly beginning to feel a lot like summer and the gardens are looking glorious. Most impressive of all at the moment is probably the herbaceous border which head gardener Mark works tirelessly to maintain and improve every year and his hard work has certainly paid off this year.  The roses are also looking fabulous and it was wonderful to see so many at our Wine and Roses day recently. Also out are the lovely genera down by the lake and at the far end of the water garden.

There are 2 events coming up in the next month including our Cherry Day on 10th July and some outdoor theatre from The Pantaloons as they attempt to take on The War of the Worlds on Sunday 17th July - no doubt they'll smash it as they always do. We also have a Classic Car display taking place on the front lawn on Sunday 31st July - more details will be online soon!

Now shortlisted by Historic Houses for their Garden of the Year Award and at number 2 out of 8 shortlisted gardens at the half way point of voting. If you think Mount Ephraim  deserve this accolade then please do vote for them and share with all your friends and family. It would be great for Kent to have a winner this year, and of course just brilliant for Mount Ephraim.

On the maintenance front there is now some scaffolding up at the back of the house for some long-awaited repairs to the roof.

Cherry Day - 10 July

Tickets are now on sale for Cherry Day.
