Black Oast Holiday, Black Oast, Fostall , Faversham, ME13 9FD

Black Oast sits in an acre of private garden near Faversham, surrounded by farmland in a peaceful corner in Kent, within walking distance of the Red Lion in Hernhill.  The beautifully restored Oast House is light and spacious, comfortably accommodating two people (plus two on a double sofa bed) in the lovely master bedroom suite. It is the ideal place to sneak away with your loved one for a romantic break in the country.

Fostal may be small, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in beauty. There is no more delightful way to start the day than wandering around the garden with a cup of freshly brewed tea, listening to the birds and admiring the view to the coast in the distance as the dew evaporates in the warmth of the morning sunshine. It is possible to walk from the cottage through nearby Blean Woods to Hernhill village, and it's a great way to stretch your legs and build up an appetite before having lunch at one of the village's three pubs.

The market town of Faversham is about a ten-minute drive away, offering a wide choice of amenities, including a supermarket and deli where you can buy provisions for your self-catering holiday.  Faversham is a friendly town with a range of attractions including the Fleur de Lis Art Gallery and Museum, and the Shepherd Neame Brewery where you can take a tour and sample the produce.  Faversham has a lively market every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, and an antique and vintage market held on the first Sunday of the month.

The property is ideally situated for walkers with views of the Swale Estuary - well behaved dogs are welcome.

Whether you simply want an oasis of calm to escape or you want to fill your days with the many diverse attractions on offer in Faversham and the surrounding area, Black Oast's quiet and central location with great transport links makes it perfect spot for you.
