Sweet countryside cottage in the grounds of the amazing Huckleberry Woods - micro animal adventures. Next to an ancient orchard & private woodland.
Meet miniature pigs, miniature donkeys, alpacas, mini sheep, chickens and ducks. A unique experience, perfect for animal lovers of all ages.
You're 10 steps away from the entrance of Huckleberry Woods micro animal adventures, with free entry for all guests during opening hours. Visit our adorable miniature animals, have a turn on the romantic apple tree swing or let the children play in the pirate ship, collect conkers and pine cones, pick fruit from the orchard or just hang out among our peaceful free ranging animals. You can even arrange to take the micro pigs, miniature donkeys Teddy Bear sheep or alpacas for a walk (charges apply).
We offer a ‘best of both worlds setting’ with a peaceful countryside location yet within 5 minutes’ drive of the bustling market town of Faversham, a wonderful medieval market town of kings with so much to see and do.
From romantic walks along the creek and through boat yards to bird watching at the fabulous Oare nature reserve, there's loads to do for nature lovers. If you're looking for something more lively, Faversham has three market days a week. With several interesting pubs from the historic Sun Inn to the remote smugglers tavern The Shipwrights Arms at Oare, Faversham is a great place to spend time.
Faversham also hosts many and varied festivals throughout the year, from the world famous Hop Festival to the vintage Festival of Transport and many more- there's something for everyone.
We are just around the corner from the Brogdale Collection, home of the national apple collection, Belmont House & Gardens and Doddington Manor. We arere about 15 minutes’ drive away from the beautiful seaside town of Whitstable and about a 20 minute drive away from Canterbury town centre. Our cottage is the perfect getaway without being too far from the action - you really do have the best of both worlds here.
I'm afraid we can't accommodate pets as we have free-ranging animals on site.
