The Plough Inn - Accommodation

Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside on the beautiful North Downs, The Plough Inn at Stalisfield Green feels wonderfully tucked away — yet we’re only 20–25 minutes from Ashford, Canterbury, Faversham, Maidstone and Sittingbourne.

It’s the perfect country retreat — close enough for convenience, yet far enough to truly switch off. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and escape to Stalisfield, where rolling hills, big skies and fresh country air greet you at every turn. There’s plenty to explore nearby (all within around 40 minutes — tractor traffic permitting!), or simply step outside and enjoy scenic walks and cycling routes right from our doorstep.

Tucked away in a peaceful corner of our pub garden, our Kent barn offers six unique suites, each individually styled with a relaxed country feel. They’re spacious, comfortable and designed to help you properly unwind, with sumptuous king-size beds and beautiful countryside views stretching towards the Kent coast.

All suites are split-level, with stairs leading down to a cosy sitting area. Five bedrooms are on the ground floor with easy access across the garden to the pub, and three are dog friendly — because we know four-legged guests deserve a break too. Rooms can be arranged as a king-size double or twin beds, with a sofa bed for families. We also have a travel cot and Z-bed available for little ones.

Every suite has an en-suite bathroom with a large double-ended bath and a spacious walk-in shower — perfect for a long soak after a country walk. You’ll also find complimentary toiletries, fresh milk, hot drinks and multi-channel smart TVs connected to the internet.

Our Master Suite is especially lovely, with countryside views from both the bed and bath, plus a generous downstairs space with a table for up to eight — ideal for relaxed breakfasts or board games with friends and family.

For larger gatherings, we offer all six suites plus a private wing of the pub for exclusive use (minimum two-night stay). It’s the best of both worlds: the freedom and space of self-catering, combined with the luxury of having your own private chef.
