The Ferry House - A Culinary Retreat with Heart

Nestled in the picturesque Kent countryside, The Ferry House invites you to enjoy a delightful dining experience in a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a proud 2AA Rosette restaurant, we create our dishes with care, using ingredients from our 1.5-acre kitchen garden, beef from our family farm just up the road, and game sourced from the local Harty estate. As a third-generation farming family, our deep connection to the land inspires every bite, ensuring a true taste of Kent in every dish.

Step inside and soak in the rustic charm of our interiors, making it the perfect spot for intimate dinners, family gatherings, or simply a well-deserved treat. Our friendly staff are highly knowledgeable, and eager to share insights about our dishes, along with thoughtful recommendations to enhance your experience, ensuring that each visit feels special and relaxed.

We also offer luxurious onsite accommodation that's dog-friendly, perfect for those wanting to extend their stay. Additionally, The Ferry House serves as a lovely venue for weddings and events, welcoming celebrations throughout the year.

Whether you're enjoying a leisurely lunch on our sun-soaked terrace or savouring an exquisite dinner by candlelight, The Ferry House promises a memorable experience filled with warmth, good food, and genuine hospitality.
