Kentish Sparkling Showcase 2026
Friday 6 February | 6:30pm – 8pm
Kent has firmly established itself as one of the UK’s most exciting sparkling wine regions, with more than 1,000 hectares of vines now planted and local producers gaining national and international recognition.
This relaxed, guided tasting at Macknade brings together a curated line-up of standout Kent producers, including Squerryes, Silverhand Estate and Westwell. Guests will enjoy expertly paired Kentish nibbles prepared by the Macknade deli team, alongside exclusive retail offers available on the night.

Kids Valentine’s Biscuit Workshop
Monday 16 February | From 11am
Perfect for February half term, this fun and creative workshop invites children aged three and over to decorate their own Valentine’s biscuit.
Hosted by award-winning Eat & Mess Bakery from Deal, Kent, children will be guided through the decorating process to create a biscuit to enjoy themselves or gift to someone special. No booking is required — families can simply drop in during workshop hours.

Drag Bingo Night
Friday 27 February | From 7pm
Expect a full house of laughs as Macknade welcomes back drag artists Wee Delilah Tickles and Anita for an evening of Drag Bingo.
Tickets include entry, four games of bingo and a delicious Macknade deli platter, with prizes up for grabs, playful humour throughout and a bar stocked with locally sourced drinks. This event is strictly for adults aged 18+.

Jazz & Aperitivo with The Stephen Bridgland Trio
Saturday 28 February | From 7pm
Round off the month with a relaxed evening of live jazz and small plates at Macknade. Guests will be welcomed with a drink on arrival and can order from a specially curated menu while enjoying live music from The Stephen Bridgland Trio.
Winner of the Canterbury Festival Composition Prize, Stephen Bridgland has performed at festivals including Brecon Jazz Festival and Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, as well as renowned venues such as the Royal Festival Hall. His guitar-led trio reimagines jazz standards alongside lesser-known compositions, blending bespoke arrangements with moments of spontaneity.
