ON THE FARM
t's a busy time on the family farm with calving well underway. This beautiful Hereford calf is just one day old! Mothers & calves thrive here before being released together onto 3000 acres of natural pasture at the neighbouring Emley Nature Reserve in April.
IN THE GARDEN
Winter has been all about putting nutrients back into the soil & nurturing our seedlings - now spring is all about reaping what we sow! Forced rhubarb & our polytunnel greens are among the earliest produce cropped from the garden. And soon... Asparagus season!
Take a pre-staycation peek at some of our individually-styled, 4* ensuite rooms, with relaxed rustic charm & luxurious touches. Look out for the river estuary views from our ‘Waterside’ rooms, as well as the stylish furnishings that pay homage to our food ethos & wetland location.
Aerial views of our country & coastal panoramas let you appreciate Harty’s unique natural beauty, with a glimpse also of The Ferry House restaurant, kitchen garden & Treatment Rooms.
