Swale Borough has a lot to offer visitors, from 'Blue Flag' (2019) award-winning beaches on the Isle of Sheppey, to the busy historic market towns of Faversham, Sheerness and Sittingbourne. There are also a number of pretty villages nestled in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a vast expanse of marshes, nature reserves and country parks where visitors can go walking, bird watching and fishing.

Travel and Transport

Swale has excellent connections to London St Pancras with HS1 as well as from Faversham and Sittingbourne to the rest of Kent. It also has impressive links to Europe via the ferry or Channel Tunnel. Just an hour from London and within easy reach of many of the counties regional attractions via the A2, A249, M2 and M20 road links.
