Opportunities in Swale...

There are a number of clubs and organisations providing opportunities in Swale -

Remember to contact the club/organisation before you attend to ask any questions you have on their activities.

Background to Running...

The mix of urban and rural landscapes provides various options for running whether you like to pound the streets or trek through the countryside, visitors and residents will be able to find a route that will suit them.

If you are looking to get into running and have got a pair of trainers there are plenty of parks and spaces you can go to but there are several clubs and organisations in Swale that provide a mix of sessions for all interests with some well-established annual runs across Swale –

Like most boroughs in the Country we are lucky to have the enthusiasm of local volunteers that are providing events within the global running movement - parkrun UK. Although the parkruns are currently not running due to the COVID-19 Lockdown, there are two established in Swale that we are looking forward to welcoming back as soon as its safe -

All activities offered by clubs overseen by a National Governing Body will be required to adhere to new procedures to protect participants. Run Together is part of England Athletics and both are working with Sport England to support providers to get back to activities.
