Opportunities in Swale...

There are a number of clubs and organisations providing opportunities in Swale -

Remember to contact the club/organisation before you attend to ask any questions you have on their activities.

Background to Sub-Aqua...

The 1950's saw the development of associtations that were looking to regulise the training for divers and improve safety, this however helped to create the activity as a recreational offer.

Recreational diving does require specilaist equipment and training although organisations do offer activities and courses for beginners to try the activity before they need to committ to purchasing any equipment.

Activities can take part in swimming pools and open water providing the relevent qualified and experienced instructor is present.

COVID-19

All activities offered by clubs overseen by a National Governing Body will be required to adhere to new procedures to protect participants. The British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) is working with Sport England to support providers to get back to activities.
