Brogdale Collections is the home of the National Fruit Collection and works to provide access and education about the National Fruit Collection. Set in over 150 acres of farmland, we have over 4000 varieties of fruit trees here from apples, pears, quinces and plums to cherries and more. The Collections orchards are a living history & heritage of fruit.

Self-guided tours are available any time of the day or year, you can spend as much time as you like wandering the pathways, enjoying the countryside and discovering the fruits cycle from blossom to fruit and frost.

Parking
There is a large car park here at Brogdale and you should always find a space for your car, we also have ample space for your mini bus or coach.

 

Dogs
Dogs are strictly NOT allowed in the orchards at any time. Dogs are welcome in the marketplace and on the picnic meadow only. Please check before you visit.

 

Accessibility Most of the site is accessible to all visitors. Wheelchairs are suitable on the guided tours and we have an allocated wheelchair space on our tractor trailer. We have two off road mobility chairs (not motorised) that can be hired to use on the route. We recommend booking these in advance. Please contact us should you have any concerns or questions.

 

Facilities

There are WC facilities for all visitors on site including an accessible toilet close to the marketplace.

 

Other Businesses

Brogdale has a fruit tree nursery, farm shop, and café on site. (All closed on Mondays)

By Car
Brogdale is situated just outside of Faversham, Kent; 1 mile from the M2 at Junction 6. For SatNav use postcode ME13 8XZ.

By Train
It takes just over 1 hour to get to Faversham from London. Faversham railway station is approximately 1 mile away, a taxi usually costs about £4.50 each way. If you prefer walking, the walk is flat with footpaths all the way.

By Foot
Brogdale is just a 15 minute walk from the A2 in Faversham. The walk will take you over the M2 bridge and Brogdale is just on the other side to the left.
